Command and Conquer Levels Level Theme: Flank Nod's second assault Level Number: 10 Level Name: Underseige Created By: Tsuyoshi Kihara Release Date: 12 July 1996 Map information: Large (55x54), Temperate theater. Player: GDI Difficulty: Medium Filename: UNDER.ZIP File contents: scg10ea.ini scg10ea.bin mission.ini savegame.500 readme.txt Level replacement ----------------- This mission replaces the 10th GDI mission. There is no real reason behind this other than that it is easier for me to mess around. Mission Description ------------------- Level 1 ------- The GDI base in the area is under heavy fire from the Nod forces, radio contact has been lost so there is no determination on the extent of damage sustained... Move your troops into the base as quickly as possible, then strengthen the fortifications. The second assault is due soon. During this assault, you must flank the forces to avoid head on collision, and hit the enemy base from behind. This way you can attack the Nods from two sides. DO NOT attempt to attack from the front, intelligence has identified a massive reinforcement trap which would probably flatten your forces. Level Description ----------------- Level 1 ------- The Nod forces will arrive from the South gate of your base, so split your strengthened army into two as soon as possible, then send one of them out of your East gate. Sneak through the trees and hammer the harvester and kill the base from the undefended gates. Usage ----- For those who don't want to bother messing around editing files, a savegame has been supplied that were taken the instant the level started. Simply copy these files (savegame.500) into your Command and Conquer directory (rename it if you don't want to lose one of your savegames). Then load that file when you start. You will not be able to restart the mission if you do this, you will have to re-load it if you need to try again. If you choose this method, you can ignore the next part. If you want something more complete, and yo want to be able to restart the level, then copy scg10ea.ini, scg10ea.bin, mission.ini, into your 'c&c' directory. I think that this will do it, if not, rename the scg10ea.bin to scg10ea.map and do it as it says in some other homemade missions. If you are a bit experianced and you want to mess around with the map, then the .bin file is the same as the .map file. Other Infos ___________ I used the programs; CCMAP, BaseIt, CC-Tools, Mixman, that I downloaded from the net. Anyone wanting to start their own mission making should have a look at: How to create your own Command and Conquer missions file from Han Brunger Thanks to all who have contributed to bringing these programs onto the NET.
